FISHERMAN'S AIRFARES

Delta is once again offering special "Fisherman's Airfares".  These fares are less restrictive than regular "excursion" airfares that are available on-line.  This season we are also seeing that the "Fisherman's Fares" are also significantly less expensive than the regular economy fares available online through the airlines web sites.

These "Fisherman's Fares" are only offered through a limited number of approved travel agencies that are affiliated with lodges and outfitters.

To check on the "Fisherman's Fares" please contact Heather at Heartland International Travel.  Their contact numbers are:

2010 COMMERCIAL AIRLINE SCHEDULE

Photo
Canadair Regional Jet

Delta has changed both its flight schedule, the number of flights between Minneapolis and Saskatoon and the type of aircraft they are using.

  • For 2011 there are fewer flights from the U.S. into Saskatoon as Delta has decreased the number of daily flights between Minneapolis and Saskatoon from four in 2010 to two in 2011.  United (SkyWest) also has two daily direct flights between Denver and Saskatoon every day with the exception of Sunday which only has one flight.  United Airlines also offers one daily flight between Chicago and Saskatoon with one stop.

    • Delta Airlines will have two daily flights operating between Minneapolis (MSP) and Saskatoon (YXE)

      • Depart MSP @ 11:45 - arrive YXE @ 13:06

      • Depart MSP @ 21:35 - arrive YXE @ 22:54

    • The return flights from Saskatoon to Minneapolis are as follows:

      • Depart YXE @ 5:40 - arrive MSP @ 8:59

      • Depart YXE @ 14:30 - arrive MSP @ 17:49

    • United / SkyWest flights between Denver (DEN) and Saskatoon (YXE)

      • Depart DEN @ 11:46 - arrive YXE @ 14:10 (except Sunday)

      • Depart DEN @ 19:45 - arrive YXE @ 22:07 (except Saturday)

      • Depart DEN @ 16:20 - arrive in YXE @ 18:36 (Saturday only)

      • Depart YXE @ 6:25 - arrive DEN @ 9:00

      • Depart YXR @ 14:37 - arrive DEN @ 17:09 (except Sunday)

    • United Airlines flights between Chicago O'Hare (ORD) and Saskatoon (YXE)

      • Depart ORD @ 17:10 - arrive YXE @ 20:20

      • Depart YXE @ 6:10 - arrive ORD @ 11:24

Delta has upgraded their aircraft on the MSP / YXE route from the 50 passenger CRJ to the 64 seat Embraer E-75.  United is still using the 50 passenger Regional Jets between Denver and Saskatoon as well as Chicago and Saskatoon.  Therefore, to get the best selection of flight times - book your commercial flights early!
