Delta is once again offering special "Fisherman's Airfares".  These fares are less restrictive than regular "excursion" airfares that are available on-line.  This season we are also seeing that the "Fisherman's Fares" are also significantly less expensive than the regular economy fares available online through the airlines web sites. 

These "Fisherman's Fares" are only offered through a limited number of approved travel agencies that are affiliated with lodges and outfitters.

Pinnacle Airlines, a Delta Airlines regional partner, services International Falls, MN (INL) with two (2) daily flights from Minneapolis, MN (MSP).  The aircraft used on this route is a Saab 340 twin turbo-prop with a maximum seating capacity of 34 passengers.

With only two daily flights between Minneapolis and International Falls, we advise our guests to book their commercial air travel as soon as possible to ensure seats are available on the days you wish to travel.  The Saab -340 aircraft can only accommodate 34 passengers, so seats are extemely limited. 

Another cost-effective option for groups of four or more is to rent a vehicle in Minneapolis and drive to Fort Frances, ON.  It is 302 miles between the Minneapolis / St. Paul International airport and La Place Rendezvous Hotel in Fort Frances with an estimated travel time of approximately 5 hours.

We recommend overnighting in Fort Frances rather than in International Falls to avoid any delays crossing the International Bridge from the U.S. into Canada. Weekends are especially congested with delays of over one hour not uncommon. The following hotels are available in Fort Frances:
